Hello. I need to replace three lights in my pool. They are halogen spa lights. Would these LED lights work?

I am looking to replace my pool light ( it currently has a spa light ) I cant find a model number, but the dimensions are the same as the ones listed for this fixture. It has a 12v 75watt bulb in it now. Will this fixture work. Does this include the housing/fixture and bulb and what is the wattage of the led bulb. Thanks. John

Hi, John. This fixture might work depending on the niche you have. The LED bulb sold with this package is a 5 Watt 12 volt.

Does this come with a remote control to change the colors or displays?
Also: Can we use a dimmer switch to change the brightness of the light or is it not doable with the 12 V xformer?

Hi, Bill. This kit does not have a remote and can not be used with a dimmer but will require a 12 vac transformer.

Hello, I have a Pentair 77168100 aqualight 250w. Will this fit?

I have (SAm) 12volt 165watts. Will this work with out changing the in pool housing.

The bulbs within the SAM cannot be replaced with LED bulbs. You can replace the complete fixture with one of these PureColors 12 Volt Pool LED Fixtures This would require that you replace the complete light fixture and cord, but you do not need to replace the can in the wall of the pool. Here is a Video on How to Replace a Light Fixture which you may find helpful.

My original pool light only has 1 screw, what are all these other holes in this model?
Reply
This light also only has one screw to screw the light to the niche in the wall of the pool. The other holes allow water to go behind the light to cool it.

I like this subject light kit, but I would like to know if it fit the Small Plastic Spa Niche Concrete (SPA) SP0601U I purchsed from Inyo Pools before I order the said kit.

Hi, Pablito. Yes, this Fixture Kit will fit the SP0601U niche. You can also use the Hayward Astrolite II - SP0590SL50 and PL5816 as an option.

Hi,
Would this light work as a replacement for a Purex 10510? I know I'd have to add the transformer, but would it fit in the same niche?
Thanks!

Hi, Kyle. Yes, this SpaBrite Spa LED Light Fixture Kit will fit into the same niche.

I currently have a Hayward Colorlogic light for my spa and 2 for my pool. Can I use this light to replace the spa light? I think this may be a better choice in the long run since they seem to last longer...

Hi Brian, This PureColors Light would work as a replacement for your Hayward ColorLogic Spa light, however, it would not synchronize with the lights in the pool as the ColorLogic and PureColors have different color shows. I do like the PureColors as if the bulb ever goes bad it is replaceable where the Hayward ColorLogic are not meaning you have to replace the entire fixture when they go bad.

I'm replacing my pool liner in a few weeks and I'd like to replace my old Hayward light fixture at the same time and install a new LED fixture. My wiring currently goes to a junction box under my diving board then runs underground to the back of my garage and into the transformer. I know I'll need to add a switch behind the garage. My pool is 20x40. Will this fixture work? Do you have any other suggestions? Thank you

Hi, Jon. IF you have a Hayward Niche, you will need a Hayward fixture. You can purchase a Hayward Astrolite Fixture along with the PureColors LED Bulb.

Hi,
I hope you can open the picture. I have a swim spa and I need to know if this item will fit in the Pentair niche, I think it is one of these two model Numbers 78241 or 78242.
Thanks

Hi, James, Yes, this PureColors LED Spa Light Fixture Kit can be used as a replacement. It will also require an Intermatic Transformers.
