Hi. In some cases, you can increase the pump hp by replacing the motor, impeller, diffuser. You would first have to find out if your system is able to handle the increased water flow.

Hi I have a Reliant p2410 1 hp motor that sounds like it is failing. Would this be a good replacement?

Hi, James Hays. This motor will not fit the Reliant P2410 pump. We do not carry a motor that is compatible.

will this fit a Hayward pump?

This will depend on the specific Hayward pump model that you have but if you have a Hayward above pool pump that is 1.5 hp then it likely would work. You can always call in and provide your current motor model, or part number if you would like to confirm.
