Poolside Chat Episode #14 Video

Watch the video it’s easier than reading ;)

Rob: Hello, welcome back to another great episode of Poolside Chat presented by InyoPools.com. I’m what you call the QB1 of Poolside Chat, Rob.

Matt: And I am Matt and you are by far the QB3 on this. The camera guy’s even QB2. You’re RG3. He’s Colt McCoy. I’m Kirk Cousins. Let’s do this, all right.

Rob: All right we’ll go with that.

Matt: Okay.

Rob: What’s on deck today?

Matt: We got Karen with a K, they always say that.

Rob: Yes.

Matt: They are very, very particular about how you spell their name. I’m sorry Karen if you get angry. She has a question about solar covers. It goes as such; do these solar covers fit odd shaped pools? Mine is shaped like a figure eight. If not, what do you recommend?

Rob: Well you can definitely use a solar cover on an odd shaped pool. They only are offered in rectangles. They don’t do custom shapes so basically what you have to do is to order a rectangle large enough to cover your entire pool. You lay it over your pool, bubble side down; let it sit overnight so it kind of forms to the lip of the pool, take a pair of scissors or an X-ACTO knife and cut around the edge and you have your custom shaped solar cover.

Matt: That sounds fun, like a little arts and crafts situation going on after work, except more expensive, with no Popsicle sticks.

Rob: Yes.

Matt: I like it, add some macaroni and I’m there.

Rob: All right.

Matt: All right

Rob: Nailed it.

Matt: Yes, dismount. Good job.

Rob: Yes.

Matt: Mainly you on that one.

Rob: Carried it.

Matt: It was kind of a short answer. I could have done better.

Rob: My back hurts from carrying the load on this one.

Matt: What was that, I think that was a chubby joke and I don’t appreciate it. But if you have any questions for us you can always contact us at 877-372-6038 or you can subscribe to our YouTube channel and we also have a free pool maintenance guide. Guess how long it is?
