    Hello;

    my name is Joe and I recently had our HOA hot tub 8’x8’ regular (not salted) water tested at a pool supply store here in the Bay Area in california for free, i gathered the results and shared them with the HOA. The results are below,. The younger girl highlighted and explained this info and recommendation to me. I expressed my concern in regard to the level of TDS with the management company. Their reply is below.

    The answer I received in response to the reporting was the following push back.

    Hello Joseph B Watson,

    It is not typical to drain the spas annually and not a normal service or protocol. We can submit your request to the Board to see if they will approve draining the spas annually. We cannot instruct the pool company to do so without Board approval. We sent another request to the pool company to ensure the spas are cleaned and chemicals are correct.

    I plan on forwarding your link to the hoa in efforts to educate from you website. Do you have any other suggestions or links with more pertinent information as it pertains to TDS That could sway the boards decision?

    Here is what I plan on writing. Your input could be really important , if I missed anything.

    In regard to the following statement:

    I’m sharing the following applicable links to the contrary.

    Please submit the Water report to the board and share the following links as well.

    An additional note, six months of the year the spa/pool is restricted to patrons, but I did notice a pair of ducks living in the Huntington enclosed pool/spa area.
