Namasté.

Do you have an LED light that will replace my fiber optic pool lights?

-Scott, Schenectady, NY

Rob: There is, Scott. We get this question all the time. Fiber optics were huge in the 90s and into the early 2000s, but now everybody’s going LED. So we do have a product that will work. It’s called the Fiberstars PAL light. That will basically replace your fiber optics.

Matt: Is it this one over here?

Rob: Oh, it is that one.

Matt: Oh, we just so happen to have one on set. I just love how compact they are. How do you install them again?

Rob: Very easy to install. Basically, just remember your fiber optic lens. You connect the end of this cable to the fiber optic cable and then fish it back through near your illuminator. Then all you have to do is hook this up to a transformer and then from your transformer to your junction box. And boom, you got LED lighting.

Matt: I’ll take boom, boom, pow.

Rob: Boom, boom, pow.

For a more in-depth look into its features and capabilities, read the PAL-Treo product page.

Matt: Boom, boom, pow and you got a party going. But these things are pretty nice. I installed them in my pool. Fiber optic was really popular in the 90s, like Nirvana.

Rob: Yes.

Matt: Or the Foo Fighters– were the Foo Fighters still popular?

Rob: Yes. I guess you could say that.

Matt: Greatest band of all time. Not going to lie on that one. But, again, it’s been a great show.
