We would recommend you purchase a tune up kit (W300, W330, or W331) for your Hayward Navigator or Pool Vac Ultra. Which kit you purchase depends on what kind of pool you have, concrete or vinyl. It is not clear with any of the hayward units if they clean the pool walls also. All the text says "cleans entire pool." Do the hayward cleaners clean the pool walls?

How far the cleaner goes up the side of the wall really depends on the suction you are getting from your exsisting filter pump. If you have a small 3/4 HP pump the cleaner will go partially up the walls, the larger the pump and the more suction you have the higher up the pool wall the cleaner will go. I have seen this cleaner go all the way up to the tile line with pumps that have strong suction.

I have a concrete pool 10 ft deep by 40 by 18, kidney shape, and live in the desert in Lake Havasu ,AzWe back onto the Colorado River, and have a large amount of sand when the wind blows up from the river . Which suction cleaner would be the best for my needs, considering the sand, leaves, and occasional small gravel blown in. My pump is a 2 HP Whisperflo

That pool vac is great, but it has trouble in sand. It always stops when the bearings get jammed up with sand. I would recommend the Pool Cleaner 4 Wheel Cleaner, part number 896584000-020. That is a great cleaner and the 4 wheel cleaner will be better than the 2 wheel cleaner in your situation because the 4 wheel cleaner is for pools deeper than 8ft. The four wheels makes it easier for the cleaner to make it up the slope from the deep end.

I was so impressed with Inyo Pools customer service. I couldn't believe it when I received my pool cleaner the next day. The customer service people were helpful and friendly when I called later on to ask some questions. The pool cleaner is working exactly as I had hoped it would. Overall it was a great experience.
