Recently I purchased a 1hp pureline prime pump from Inyo pools. I also purchased 2 reducing fittings to go from 2" on the pump to 11/2" pvc piping that I use on my pool. My pool is a 20,000-gallon gunite pool. It is 18 feet by 36 feet. I replaced a sand filter with a Hayward 1200C cartridge filter. I bought an extra filter cartridge as a backup because my pool was such a nasty green --It took about a week of running the Pureline prime pump almost constantly to clear up my pool water. But it did clean it up and it looks great!! I had read reviews of the Hayward 1200C and the Pureline prime pump and the reviews were spot on. That combination does indeed work!!
