Easy-Clear full-flo element filters are designed specifically for above-ground pools of all sizes. Manufactured from high density ABS materials, Easy-Clear will provide years of trouble-free operation. Performance-matched with the Power-Flo LX pump series, they will turnover 24,000 gallons in an eight hour period, easily handling a 24' round above-ground pool. Does the motor have a twist lock plug?

No this motor does not have a twist lock plug. The closest system we have to this system with a twist lock plug would be the Hayward Xstream 100 Sq. Ft. Filter with 1 HP Pump & Twist Lock Cord. You could also always go with this system and purchase the Twist Lock Cord separately.

Hello, would this work with an 18x24 oval above ground pool? And does it come with a cartridge, or do I need to order that separately? (If yes to ordering the cartridge can you specify which cartridge to order?). Thanks!

Hi Melissa, yes this system would work for an 18' x 24' oval above ground pool. The cartridge is included with this system, however it is a good idea to have an extra cartridge on hand and here is the link to an Extra 40 Sq. Ft. Replacement Cartridge

We bought this to replace a sand filter for our 24' round pool and are very pleased. I am so thrilled with this product!! The old sand filter had blown sand into our pool last summer. Overnight this filter and pump cleaned the entire pool! It's extremely quiet, so you don't have to yell to be heard over it and it's small enough to not be in the way. I would buy this again anytime!

I noticed that my old sand filter was leaking and wanted to buy a new filter. I researched different filters and decided on a cartridge filter by Hayward. INYO was running a special and I got the filter at a great price. The filter is way more powerful that my old filter. Here are my issues. 1 - the filter comes on it's own base. The pump is bolted in place (by the factory) however the canister is about 2 inches too far from the pump. This cause the fitting to leak since they cannit be fullt screwed into the pump and canister. 2- THe plug on the filter (3 prong 120 volt) does not match the plug (type I 220 volt) on the old comparatible pump. Until I have an electrican change the voltage on the regular pump station, I have to use a different outlet (so much for the timer I had installed). As far a actually filtering the water, it is too soon to tell. By the way, INYO shipped the product within a few days to my home and I was very pleased with that.

I bought this pump / filter combo not knowing if it would attach to the fittings of my Intex metal frame pool, and/or if it would be too powerful for the liner. The 1.5 inch attachments were a perfect fit, it setup without the need to "jury rig" anything, it uses a standard plug, and it's been doing an amazing job keeping the 6,000 gallon Intex pool clean. Incomparable to the "toy" filter that came with the pool set.
