Jeanne- The size pool that you can use the Hayward Power-Flo II 3/4 HP Single Speed Pump Part # SP1775 would depend on the Average feet of head in your pool.

I want to use this to replace a SP1575, for which the discharge had been rotated to horizontal. Can I do the same with this pump, via removal/replacement of the pump/motor bolts?
Reply
Yes, you are able to rotate the wet end to make it a horizontal discharge.

Pros: Cheaper & quieter than my old one
Cons: pump housing is plastic
The pump housing is plastic & is connected to the strainer basket (also plastic) with a plastic nipple. The nipple broke off during shipping. However, it was quickly replaced with a new unit!
