Stephen, The Jandy Stealth 1-1/2 HP Full Rate Pump has a Total HP of 2.25 and and the Jandy Stealth 1-1/2 HP Up Rate Pump has a Total HP of 1.65.

Will this pump replace a Jandy Stealth JHP 1.5 hp pump with out changing the current plumbing? Is the profile of the unit the same. (bulkhead location)

You won't have to change the plumbing, both have 2" ports.

Hi, Jane. The difference is the total horsepower (THP) due to the service factor (SF). The SHPF1.5 is rated at 1.5 hp with a 1.5 service factor which gives it a THP of 2.25 and the SHPM15 is also rated at 1.5 hp with a 1.1 service factor which has a THP of 1.65.
