Is there any alternative brand that will replace this pump? Im looking for an inexpensive replacement.

This is the only 2 HP 2 Speed Above Ground Pool Pump we carry. Most above ground pools would not need a pump this large, what size pool do you have? Also if you are interested in going to a single speed pump then there are quite a few options which are less expensive.

Hi, Frank. The Waterway Hi-Flo II Pump (PH2150-3) is the replacement pump that would be an exact replacement for your existing pump. The cost of this pump is $309.99.

Hi, I would recommend, this PH22006R pump or the Carvin SLR9 - 94027513.

Up to how many gallons will this pump work. We have 16,000 g

If you have an above ground pool with 16,000 gallons that will work for your pool, you just have to make sure the filter will be able to handle the flow rate of that pump.

Hi, I've got above ground pool 24' 15,000 gal if i'm not mistake. Right now using PH2200-6 , 2 speeds. It seem to me that that pomp can barely more water on higher speed, and doing pretty much no good on lower. My pool getting green every week no matter how much maintence I put into it. Please advise, should I get stronger pomp, bigger sand filter ..?

Hi, Thomas. I don't think the pump is the issue, I would make sure that your filter is cleaner or the media is replaced. The PH2200-6 is more than sufficient to circulate 15,000 gallons of water. Also monitor your chlorine level daily to make sure it's staying at an okay level.
