Mark, Yes the Hayward SP1600R gasket will fit the Hayward SP2600B diffuser.

I recently replaced this seal and was instructed to lubricate it I used plumbers grease which is very tacky. Can this cause problems?

David, That can cause an issue if it is not rated for use on rubber. We typically recommend using Magic Lube.

I have model C48L2N134B1 Hayward super pump. I’m looking for a diffuser gasket. Will this one work? If not do you have one that will fit.
