What are the dimensions of this pin for the handle of the multiport. Are there two pins in the handle. I have a pin coming out one side and am not sure if it broke in the middle inside handle or were there two? One coming out each side of the handle?

Hi, Jude. This Pin is .3" x 2.06" and only one pin is required.

Hi, I have some plastic pieces that have dislodged from the handle that is stopping the handle correctly closing in the selected position and water is leaking down the backwash pipe. Does the pin do anything else than hold the handle in place? I'm thinking if I remove the pin, remove the handle then remove the obstacles, the pin should simply reattach through the handle without issue. Am I correct??? Thanks

Hi, Greg. It sounds like the washer has broken and would need to be replaced. To replace the washer you would need to remove the pin from the handle.

I have the same problem as Greg in July of 2017, where the handle does not sit properly and the backwash tub leaks. Which washer is it exactly that I would need?

Hi, Jimmy. You will need to check your valve to confirm that the Nylon non-metallic Bearing is intact. If its not, it will need to be replaced based on the model of your valve.

After replacing the gaskets inside the valve. removed the old handle by tapping the old pin out and then put the new handle in place and inserted pin to hold the replacement handle in place.
