what is a good replacement pump for a flotec pool pump AT 251001-01

Hi Charles, I am showing that the flotec pump AT 251001-01 is for an inground pool, if this is the case then I would suggest this 1 HP Inground Pool Pump.

What is the input and output thread sizes? Are these NPT or does it come with special fittings?

Is there a union kit I can get for this pump. Looks like when they plumbed it, they didn’t use unions

Hi Robert, I would recommend the CMP unions: http://www.inyopools.com/Products/14801352073905.htm or these: http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352048597.htm the only difference between the two is that one is longer and has an extension.

Hello Inyo Pools Help,
I have an in-ground pool of 15,000 gallons with a Hayward Sand filter-Pro Series model S210T, but Pump's exact model can not be identified. Sometimes the pump does not make sufficient pressure because the gauge shows zero psi. When we connect the vacuum hose to the pool outlet, it does not pick up anything from the pool bottom. It appears that the pump is not working properly, so we want to change the pump. Pl suggest model. The existing pump voltage is 240V. Thank you.

Hello,What is the model number of the filter? We would need to make sure not to exceed the max GPMS on the filter. We would also need to know the total dynamic feet of head on the pool. Here is a great article that explains on how to do so, http://www.inyopools.com/Blog/how-do-i-calculate-feet-of-head-for-my-pool/
