I need parts for my filter valve. When I look at the filter parts breakdown, it gives me different choices. How do I know which one is the one I need?

In order to locate the correct parts we will need to know the model number of the filter valve. Two identical filters can have two different valves. Typically the valve model will be located on the label of the valve. If there is no model number on the valve, you can try to see if there are any part numbers on the valve itself. Once you've located you valve model you can check out our >Filter Valve Parts.

I bought a Jandy DEV60 filter to replace my old DEL60. I had replaced the multiport valve a few years ago, it is a Praher, model #SM20-2. I had hoped to use it, but now I see the fittings are not the same size. Can you direct me to the proper multiport valve I need to purchase to complete the installation.
Thanks

Hello, the multiport that goes with DEV60 is Jandy 2" Standard Multiport Valve For DEV & JS Series - BWVLMPV.

will this fit my del48 filter

Hi Tom, No this valve does not fit your DEL48. You would require this DEL48 Replacement Valve unfortunately it is currently out of stock. I would suggest this DEL48 Upper Handle Assembly instead as 99% of the time it will fix any leaking issues with your valve. If you go this route you will also need this DEL48 Spider Gasket and this DEL48 Spider Gasket Adhesive.

I cracked a Union that goes into the tank, so I’m fairly certain I need to replace the whole multiport now. Will this work to replace my current multiport? See pics
Thank you for Contacting Inyo Pools, Yes BWVLMPV will work for your filter

I have a Jandy Del60 Filter. I'm considering replacing the Praher multiport valve, because it does not seem able to keep a spider gasket intact, and all of the DE goes back in the pool. Does it matter what brand multiport valve I use? I'm hoping to be able to just unscrew the fittings on the old one and re-attach the new one. Are these valves standard in terms of the connections?

Hi David, it does not matter what brand of valve you use as long as the model fits your Jandy DEL60 DE filter. One option would be this Jandy MPV SF-S Series 2" - A0553645. There are plenty of parts for your Praher valve available here, so you should be able to get it in like-new condition to avoid DE going back into your pool. You should expect to redo some plumbing when installing any new valve, as valves from different manufacturers may not be identical.
