I have a light similar to this. The clip in the niche that the screw threads into to hold the light fixture has snapped off. Is there a repair kit?

Hi Henry our Universal Pool Light Wedge should fix your issue.

The Pentair Amerlite pool light parts information states that the chrome faced version of the ring face assembly is no longer available & should be replaced with 3525-15 & 3525-16. But the old chrome faced version did not have all the holes that the 3525-15 plate has. How will these extra holes in the ring face assembly be handled with doing the final installation of the ring (with attached light assembly) to the pool wall?
Reply
Hi, The additional holes on the S.S. Face Assembly Ring would not play apart in the installation. The pilot screw would positioned at 12 o'clock when installed.

Would this face ring work on an old Purex Underwater Lighting Fixture, Wet-Niche Type No. D-426,317 - Model 100-5LW - Forming Shell #425 - 120v - 500w? The chrome plating is coming off the original face ring, and it is rusting.

Hi Randy, This Face Ring will not work with the Purex light fixture.

I have this light fixture but have somehow lost one of the metal clips that hold the Unitension Ring to the face plate. Is there anyway to replace just one clip? I don't see them anywhere on the parts list. I hate to spend 70 bucks for a whole new face plate when all I need is one $2.00 clip.
Reply
Hello Evan, I apologize, but the clips are attached to the face ring. You can contact Pentair 800-831-7133 to see if there is an individual part they sell for this.

Hi, will this face ring fit on the Hayward Large Plastic Pool Niche Concrete (SP0600U)?

Can you please tell me which niche (for concrete pool) would this face ring fit onto (to be used with a speaker)??

I have a very old Amerlite pool light with the screws and hold down tabs to hold the body to the glass and face plate and need a new face plate.
Do you have a face plate that will replace the old one?
Reply
Hi Frank, you will require key #15 & #16 from this Amerlite Parts Diagram this will upgrade your light to the new face ring. I did this exact repair to my father's light and the new ring is a much better design than the old tabs.

From the previous answer to Frank I have the same problem and I understand that I need to buy the items 15 and 16 but what about the items 14, 7 & 2?
Thanks

Hi, Gustavo. KEY # 14 is included with KEY # 16. You'll definitely need KEY # 7 but KEY # 2 can be reused.

Hello, I have an Amerlite 784 series aboveground lite with stainless steel face ring although it looks more like a chrome face ring to me. The Stainless steel or chrome face ring has worn away in spots to reveal exposed metal. I think this exposed metal is staining my aboveground pool liner. I've used citric acid in the past to clean the stains but they always come back. Never had this problem until the face ring started to deteriorate. What face ring part do I need for replacement? Thanks!

Hi, Tim. This is the correct replacement Face Ring Assembly for your series number, you will also need the Unitension Wire Assy. - 79111000 and the Guardian Silicone Lens Gasket - LPL-G-P or the Amerlite OEM Lens Gasket - 79101600.

My 50 year old pool light is a American Product model 3915, which has the Chrome/Brass finish, and has been deteriorating where there are black powder stains around the pool light ring on the wall of the pool.
Can I use the existing light bulb Cone with its electrical cable, and the Chrome/Brass ring matting ring inside the pool wall, or replace everything?
Pictures attached.
Thank You.
John
Hi, John. With a fixture that old, I recommend replacing the entire unit. You can use the Pentair Amerlite, Pentair IntelliBrite, PureColors Kit, and or the ColorSplash fixture can be used as replacements.

I have the same unit as John above, Aged Amerlite with brass face plate. I would replace the entire unit but the cable run is torturous and impossible to pull . Will the SS face plate with locking ring work on this old unit?
thanks
Yes, Pentair Pool Products Face Ring Assembly S.S. - 79110600 would be correct.

Is this face plate compatible with Swimquip 5086 light?

What type product is the face ring assembly made of in a new Pentair IntelliBrite 5g Color Pool Light? ie: Stainless Steel; brass or what?
Reply
Hi, Linda. The face ring is made using stainless steel.

I know you use SS but is it solid SS or is another product used in it and just plated with SS?

What is used to fill the other screw holes with?
THIS IS RING IS STAINLESS AND FAIRLY FLAT ON THE FRONT. THERE IS PATTERN ON THE FRONT AND 9 HOLES. THE TOP HOLE IS WHERE THE RETAINER SCREW FITS.
Reply
Hi. Nothing is used to fill the other holes in on this face ring. Those holes are there so when installing it into the niche in a filled pool it is easier to push into the niche.

I have a Pentair amerquartz underwater light assembly. p/n 99101600. The metal part in which the pilot screw goes in is broken which means the light assembly is lose in the niche . What parts would I require to fix this
Thanks

If the mount for the pilot screw is damaged, you may use a light wedge (3583-0) to secure the light

Will this work with a Pentair SAM light from 2002?
Reply
Yes, the Face Ring Assembly S.S. - 79110600 is correct for the SAM light. You will need to replace the Lens Gasket 8-3/8" - 79101600 anytime you open the fixture. We also offer the generic Lens Gasket - 79101600 - O-170 Here is the link to the complete parts page to the Pentair Spectrum Amerilite (SAM) Light https://www.inyopools.com/pool_parts_pentair_spectrum.aspx

Hi All,
Would this be the face plate for a 20 year old Pentair SAM light?
Reply
Hi Gary, yes, the Face Ring Assembly S.S. - 79110600 will be perfect for your Pentair SAM light. We recommend a new lens gasket if you are taking this apart and be sure to put some lubricant on the new gasket to ensure a long-lasting, leak-free installation.

Hello, I have been having issues with my Pentair Pool Light. I believe the Series is 600019, 600020, 600037 based on the label and this light has been leaving and allowing water to get into the interior of the light. I have replaced the Gasket around the glass but it's still leaking. Would you mind letting me know if this SS faceplate will fit my Pentair and if I need to add lubricant around the rubber seal for a better seal and should I also purchase a new lock ring for it as well?
Reply
Hi David, this Face Ring Assembly S.S. - 79110600 will fit your Pentair Spectrum Amerilite (SAM) Light. Whenever a bulb is replaced, we recommend installing a new gasket and putting lubricant on it to help it seal and last a long time. The gaskets get compressed over time and are not intended to be reused. Generally, the lock ring does not need to be replaced unless it is damaged.

Could you tell me the difference between the following. I am hoping they are the same but is the assembly essentially the entire kit?
Part: Pentair 79110600
Part: Pentair 79111000
versus
Assembly: Pentair 600095
Reply
Hello David, so the clamp assembly alone is the same as the version in the kit.
