I have a Tagelus Sand Filter model# TA 50 D / TA 50, will this part work with my sand filter?
Reply
Yes if you have a Tagelus filter and the valve is a clamp on style valve then this would be the valve you require.

I have a Pac Fab Tagelus TM 30 Sand Filter for my In-ground Pool. I need to replace the valve, as it is not shutting off the waste water completely when in the "Filter" position. The Current Valve is a TM 12 A. It is threaded rather than flanged. Do you have a replacement valve for me?
Reply
Hi Dennis, The Top Mount "V" Thread Valve (TM-12-A) will be the correct replacement valve for your Pac Fab Tagelus Sand Filter.

Will this valve work on a Tagelus 40 TA 40D sand filter ? I think this is the model I ordered and received from INYO last fall. Unfortunately the input and output ports are 90 degree opposed which will require many changes to my plumbing. The pictured valve have the ports parallel which would align with my existing plumbing.

Will this work on a Sta-Rite T-200 BP-1? If not could you help me find something that will? Thanks.
Reply
Hi Dustin, Actually this TM12L Valve would be the proper replacement valve for your Sta-Rite T-200 BP-1 and not the PL0700.

Hi do you have replacement parts mainly spider seal and possibly spring for swimquip model #14960 ( AKA STA-RITE?) believe seal is part# 14960-09, if not any idea where I could locate parts and is this valve featured the correct replacment. If not what would be the correct replacement? Thank You for any help/information you can give. Bryan

The Diverter w/ Gasket - 14962-0017 can be ordered to replace the spider gasket, it is not sold separately. The Valve Assy., Multiport 1 1/2in, W/union - 18202-0150 is the replacement valve.

I just want to confirm that this is a suitable replacement for my Purex Triton sand filter (by PacFab). I can't find a part number on it, but your replacement valve is very similar (if not identical) to what is currently installed (see photo).
Reply
Hi Robert, this valve is unfortunately not compatible with the Purex Triton sand filter series however if you can provide the specific filter model number then we can confirm what valves are.

I just received your reply indicating the valve I purchased is not compatible with my Purex Triton sand filter. I never installed it or the recommended couplers which I ordered separately. Can I exchange them for compatible units? I will try and find the exact model number, but needed to ask this question first. Thanks!

Hi George, I believe that you are referring to the lid o ring for the valve which you can see on key 6 on this parts diagram however if you are referring to another one then it should be listed there as well.

I need the clear plastic backwash indicator replaced. I do not know what it is called. Do you have these?
Reply
Hi Steve, I believe that you are referring to the clear site glass that is on the multiport valve. If you can confirm the model multiport valve then we can confirm that part number for you. The model number of your valve should be on the top label and if no longer legible you can reply to this with an image uploaded.

My multiport filter valve is leaking to waste when in the recirculate position. It is a Sta-Rite sand filter model T-240BP-1 Code 34H06P. The valve label has MDO NO 112-147/112-148, plumbing in/out of the valve is 1.5". Needing to determine the correct replacement valve.

Hi Ed, If you have the T-240BP-1 Sta-Rite Filter then you will require this TM-12L Replacement Valve Also here is a link to the Exploded Parts Diagram for your T-240BP-1 Sand Filter which may be helpful for you to keep on hand if you need any additional replacement parts in the future.

Will this fit a Sta-rite cristal-flo sand filter model T-170BP-1? Part number is WC112-148 which I have read is obsolete.

Will this fit on a sta-rite t 240bt1 sand filter the one you guys say is wrong for my application mine has the input on the front return on left backwash on right so all three are on separate sides of each other 1 1/2 inch pipe let me know if what will fit thanks
Reply
Hi Arthur, No the PL0700 is not correct. You will need this TM12L Valve the TM12L is not the original valve which was used on the sta-rite t 240bt1 Filter. This means that the valve does connect to your filter but the port location is in a slight different orientation than the original valve which will mean some slight re-plumbing, but the TM12L Valve will work.

Does the O-ring come with this?

The Oring is sold separately. Since this valve is used on different filters you will need to determine the pool filter you have and get the correct oring for that filter. Please click on the link of the pool filter you have to find the proper o-ring.Filter Parts

I need to order a new multi-port valve because mine is leaking from a hairline fracture next to the pressure gauge. I do not see any numbers listed on the multi-port but the Purex Triton Tagelus sand filter has the following numbers listed: Serial Number: 10I and Model Number: TA-60/60D. Is this the correct valve replacement?
Reply
Hi Brett, If your valve is secured to your filter with a clamp then yes this is the correct replacement valve for you.
Reply
Well this replace Valve 272523
Reply
Hi Mike, If your current valve is secured to your filter with a clamp then yes the PL0700 does replace the 272523 valve. Currently, we are out of stock on the PL0700 valve, we do have the TM-12-CFC Valve in stock which is also a replacement to the 272523 clamp style valve. Please note that the port location on the TM-12-CFC are in a slightly different location than the 272523 so you will have some slight re-plumbing. You can view our purchase the TM-12-CFC through this link TM-12-CFC Replacement Valve our inventory is low on the TM-12-CFC so I would suggest ordering sooner than later. Thanks so much!

I have a crack on the port where the pressure gauge is installed and the valve is a Pentair #272523. Which replacement valve can I use without having to replumb and does it come with a new "O" ring? If not what Part # is the "O" ring required?
Reply
Hello E. J. The Replacement Valve for the 1 1/2" Pentair Sand Filter Clamp Style is the PL0700. If your current vale is secured to the filter with a clamp, then the PL0700 is a compatible replacement. The PL0700 is not supplied with an o-ring. This valve is used on a variety of filters. Please find your filter listed on the attached link to identify the correct o-ring. Filter Parts
