The tape that was on the diplay came off. I can read only parts of my display. Is there a replacement film of some sort to buy for this.

I have a Hayward Aqua Plus (PL-Plus), and the down button on the local display isn't functioning. The image of Pro Logic P4 looks identical, but is it compatible?

I installed new cell, I went to a T-5 from a T-15 because from new installation it was over kill due to my pool being only a 15000 gallon pool. Now that I have installed new cell and changed to T-5 in the diagnostic menu. But now I get error High Salt when I know the salt level is low. Can you help. Thanks

Cody, Did you set the system to read a T-5 cell? If not, that may be your issue.

I just replaced this display on my Hayward Aqua Plus, because I was unable to read the display on my old one. Everything worked great for the first 6 hours or so, but then I got a "communication error." I pulled the only wire and reconnected it, it worked again for about 12 hours and now is giving me the communication error again. Any idea what it could be?

Hi, Paul. It sounds like the Main PCB - GLX-PCB-PRO may need to be replaced. You can use the Pro Logic Version Diagnostics Manual to confirm.

Does this control (GLX-PL-LOC-P-4) include the cable that connects it to the main board (GLX-PCB-PRO)? If it does not, could you also tell me the model number of the cable? Thank you.

Hi, Tom. The cable harness is not included and is not available as a separate part. It's only available with the Main PCB.

We have a Aqua Plus unit with a T-15 cell - Initially the main issue was the salt cell was not working, we replaced the board bc the contactor was burnt out on the back. Now the screen intermittently is not working. You cannot toggle through the menu because it doesn't glow long enough to read any settings, therefore we cannot get the unit to start producing again or complete any other settings. We don't want to keep throwing parts at this, can you recommend what part is next?

Hi, KG. You can test the Local Display Power terminal to see if you're getting 11VDC. If you are, then the Local Display will need to be replaced.

I have a Goldline aqua plus with a display was reading in Japanese now the display is blank, the setting for the pool are still working meaning my pool goes off and on when it is suppose to but the display is blank, do I just need to replace the display part number GLX-PL-LOC-P-4 or a circuit board or is GLX-PL-LOC-P-4 the circuit board

I have a Hayward Pro-Logic 4 system installed, the (+) button does not work, can't reset the inspect cell notification. According to your website, you have a replacement display for $300, give or take. I want to be sure that it will be compatible with my system... I tried to call versus resorting to electrons...

SIMPLE FIX FOR SCREEN
I had the LCD screen "crack up" and start peeling on this exact part. Didn't want to pay $300+. I ended up disassembling the unit, scraping off the cracked layer with a razor and replacing the layer with a $9 polarized sheet I bought on Amazon. Took 15 minutes to do, cost total of $11.29, and works as good as new!
See pictured below.
PS. Make sure you rotate the sheet and peel the protective layers on both sides before gluing it!

Yes, if the display is all that is bad you would need the Hayward Pool Products Local Display ProLogic P4 Only - GLX-PL-LOC-P-4.

I have a aqua plus control panel that I can not read the display on and need to make sure I order the right replacement. It is the gold line control panel with breakers on bottom and display screen on top portion which is what I need to replace. I have a number on the top near digital screen which is 947007a and a number at the bottom on front that reads g1-954001b

I have a Goldline Pro Logic Automation and chlorination Pl-P-4 logic display unit that is not working correctly. My concern is that I am not sure if I am ordering the correct replacement part. My unit has the following numbers stamped on the unit PL-P4 1-0011007D-1 GLC06311. The unit I am looking at on your web site is a GlX-PL-LOC-P-4 for approx. $321 Do you know if I am looking at a unit that should be the correct replacement? Buttons stick and almost no control.

Have the same board shown and all times are correct but will hot start and stop pump on high or low speed. Bad board??

More than likely it is the display board that is the issue, _GLX-PL-LOC-P-4 should be what you need. you can also contact Hayward direct as they are very good about troubleshooting your system.
