Do you have a 3/8" diameter x approx 23" long air breath tube for Triton II, TR100 filter. Apparently I have an odd filter because all are listed at 1/4" diameter. My strainer has a 3/8" opening. Thanks, Jeb
The TR100's based on the year, pre 99 mfg # 154437 ( 31-110-1432 ) was 25-1/2" x 1/8" I.D. x 1/4" O.D., the post 99 unit mfg # 150041 ( 31-110-1434 ) is 1/4" I.D. x 3/8" O.D. we looked at all the TR models including the commercial so not sure on your 3/8"

Does the air strainer just float around in the filter or is it attached to something, I changed the sand in the filter but someone else took it apart. thank you in advance

Good day Mike, the Air Relief would attach to the Tube shown here in key 9 which key 9 at attaches to the Lower piping assembly.

Hello .i was wondering what is the purpose of a air relief strainer in your triton 2 sand filter . Thank you in advance.have a great day

The strainer air relief is designed to help release pressure inside of the tank and piping assemblies in the unit. There are two strainer reliefs for the Triton II Sand filters. The Strainer, Air Relief (154578) is for months & years before 11/1999. The Strainer Air Relief 3/8" - 150035 is for 11/01/1999 and after.

1. Chamged the pressure system housing and changes this strainer during this operation.
2. System was dismantled for change our so no tools we're needed to change the strainer only.
