I have a 22" sand filter from namco from the early 2000"s, will this fit?

Hi Steve, If you can provide us with the model of the Namco filter that you have, we can verify if this valve will work.

I just need a replacement spider gasket for the 6 way valve. Can I order an individual gasket without ordering the entire valve?

Will you please provide a picture of the complete decal for the 6 way valve for NE6170 filter so I can see how to mark mine, since replacement parts are no longer available?
Thank you!

I recently bought a used above ground pool with this blue wave system. In order to move it I had to take all the silica sand out of the filter, how much sand has to go back in? It's a 18"-22" system

Hi Anthony, A general rule of thumb is to fill the filter tank up no less than 1/2 full with sand but not more than 3/4 full.

My valve on my blow molded top mount sand filter, is working fine, however all the labeling of positions are faded by the sun, I have no idea what some of the 6 valve locations do. Like backwash, filter, recirculate. I figure out close, but not sure if I'm in the right position to filter my water. I went on your site, but I can't find any pictures that look like the one I have. How can I figure out what each valve position is? I hate buying a new filter head just because I can't read my old one.

Hi Paul, We put together this Guide on How to Backwash a Pool Filter with No Valve Label which you might find helpful.

I have a proline blue wave 18 in. Sand Filter System with 1 HP Pump for Above Ground Pools- Model NE6150. purchased during the middle of last season. The sand filter is leaking water out of the waste value on all settings. Do I need to replace the whole valve gauge or just the gasket? Local pool store does not carry gasket. Or do I need to replace the whole unit.

Hi, Laura. You can replace the entire valve or the Upper Valve Assembly w/ Spider Gasket - 67304073000

Hello my backwash is leaking when on filter AND I have sand in my pool. Pump purchased in 2017. Could these two issues be connected? Helpdesk is saying laterals but before purchasing want to make sure it's not the valve instead causing both issues. thank You.

Yes, this could be caused by the spider gasket in the valve itself or even the laterals. We recommend starting with the spider gasket before looking into the laterals as that is a more extensive job.

I currently have a Blue Torrent sand filter. It looks like the part number is AC 08621. Is this product a compatible replacement?

Hi, I just got a BlueWave Sand Filter System and Pump. NE6150/NE7170 Manual. Used pool.
A YouTube video said you needed covers for all the open holes where there was not a hose going into for both the filter and the pump. Is this true? I did not see any covers parts listed in the manual and no covers that could be screwed on the open holes on the 6 way valve. Do you need to cover those if there is not a hose on them? Thanks!
Reply
No, if there is no hose on them then you would not need to close it.

My sand filter is leaking water at the handle. What part is needed for a sta-rite cristal-flo model t-200BP-1?
Hi, GA. If you would like to replace the entire valve, you will need P/N 26118 or TM-12-L. If you want to rebuild your valve, parts are listed on the Sta-Rite 1-1/2" WC112 Series Multiport Valve Parts Diagram.

will the NE6150 or NE6170 fit or replace a wc 112 148 0r a 261186
Reply
No the NE6150 or NE6170 does not replace the WC112148 valve. The WC112148 valve was discontinued and has been replaced by this 261186 Valve if you are replacing the WC112148 with the 261186 Valve then you will have some minor re-plumbing as the ports the new 261186 Valve are not in the exact same location as the WC112148 valve. Please click here to view or purchase the 261186 Valve.

this is my 2nd attempt to contact your company, no responses
for this valve, do you carry the 2 unions that thread directly onto the valve, if not what is the part number.
Hello Ryan, unfortunately, we do not carry the unions for this multiport valve part number NEP2133 however you can also use any male threaded unions to thread to the internal ports of this valve as well. Part number 9392D is an example of one.
