I have a jacuzzi 250L-7 filter with model # 94086250.
The valve is leaking and I cannot get the pin out of the handle so that I can replace parts so I want to just replace the entire dial valve assembly. It is a seven position valve and bolt on. It has no part or model number. Could it be the DVK-7 and if so, do you carry it (or whatever it may be)? Thank you.
Reply
Yes your filter would require the DVK-7 valve and this would be the correct valve.

Is this a direct replacement for the original Jacuzzi Laser 250 Sand filter? Are the bolt circle and pattern the same as the original? Two of the threads on the inlets and outlets seem reversed from my current head. (Male oppose to Female)
Reply
Hi Tony, this is a replacement for the original Jacuzzi Laser 250 Sand filter. This is the bolt on valve and not the clamp on valve. The pattern for the bolt holes should be the same as your current pattern. It is possible that the ports have been re-positioned on this valve from your original configuration which would mean some minor re-plumbing.

I just broke another one of these valves. The threaded fitting that comes from the pump to the valve splits when I screw in the male threads of the hose that comes from the pump. I know I will have to purchase another valve, but do you have a hard hose that will connect to this valve and pump that has a swivel female fitting? If so, please provide me with the information to purchase one.
Reply
Hi Lloyd, You will need (2) Male End Union 1 1/2" Mpt (417-4060) depending on the pump you have and a Pump To Filter Hose Assy. 22" Tank (155728). The hose does not swivel, but has a union nut fitting that will screw on the the male end union.

Just replaced the sand on my Jacuzzi Laser sand filter (L225) with a 7-position valve. Replaced the O ring (13-078-09-R) and lubricated it before I put it on. Put it back together being careful not to overtighten, however it now leaks profusely. It is like the adapter flange and dial valve are not mating well. Took it apart several times to try and reseat, but with the same result each time. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi David, You may have purchased the wrong size o-ring, you need p/n 47-0366-47-R. Also, the L225 model is the clamp style filter not a bolt-on which this 7 Pos. Dial Valve (39262803R) is for.
