SLR9 pump matches up with an avalanche 60 filter?

If you have a Jacuzzi Avalanche AV60 filter you can use the SLR9 1.5 HP Pump Horizontal Discharge (94022435).

Will this pump work with a Jacuzzi Sherlock 80 filter system?
Model # SHER80-S1LR9-3-HK6
Order # 94223914

This pump would be too strong for that model filter. You would need to either use a 3/4 hp model or a Sherlock 160 model to make sure flow rates are compatible.

Do you sell a dual speed version of this pump?

We do have access to the Dual Speed Jacuzzi SLR 1.5 HP Pump but it would be a special order taking 3 weeks for delivery.

Would this pump be a replacement for sta-rite ABGS4F 2A4

Hi Sue I would suggest the 94027794 SLR Vertical Discharge Pump as your ABGS4F 2A4 pump is vertical discharge and not horizontal discharge.

Hello,
I have a Sherlok Element Filter system manufactured by Jacuzzi, with an LR Series Pump/Strainer.. I am looking to replace the Strainer and pump assembly with the S15TLR-6-S1 2 speed, 115 volts, Amps 12.0/3.1. The pump assembly outlet must have a horizontal outlet to connect to the filter housing. I am not sure how to or who I can purchase this product through? I am having a hard time locating one online.

Hi Karen, The reason you're having trouble finding that pump is because there is not one available. You will have to purchase this pump and convert it into a 2-speed pump by switching out the motor.

Hi Tee, I can't confirm that it will be an exact replacement base off of the info provided. However, if you can provide us with more info like the make and model of your filter and photos of your current pump we can confirm.

Will a 1 hp pump work on a 28' round above ground pool with a Hayward heater installed between the pump and pool or should I use a 1.5 hp pump.

A 1HP jump would work just fine with your size pool.

I have a 10000 gal swimming pool. What size pump or HP do I need for that water capacity?

Hi Ella, The 1 hp pump is adequate for a 10,000 gallon pool. If you can provide the filter model and or size we confirm if this pump will be sufficient.

What is the advantage to verticle as opposed to horisontal discharge?

Hello Greig, sometimes horizontal vs vertical is all about how much space you have or where your plumbing is located, certain people just prefer vertical.

Hi, This pump can be used to replace the Waterway Pump 3410612-2041. However, the connection from the pump to the filter is not compatible with this pump.

can i replace my ao smith 1.5 spl pump with this one? part# 7-177894-24

Hi, The correct replacement would be the Jacuzzi SLR9 1HP Pump (94022430). The 1.5 HP model will circulate more water than you may need or that your filter can handle.

Hi! I have a large pool, 33' round pool. 30,000 plus gallons. I need a 2 spd, 1.5 hp, 115 volt horizontal discharge. However, I really only need the electric motor. I can replace myself, but I need to make sure the mounting flange (from motor to pump) is the same. Can you lend any advice? My pump is model number is S15TLR. Thanks!

Hi, Dave. You can replace the motor yourself if you're mechanically inclined. You can use the Century BN50 Motor to replace your existing pump motor.

Hello,
I just purchased a SLR9 1.5 HP Above Ground Pump Horizontal Discharge (94022435) from you. Do you know the parts that I need to purchase in order to connect it the two hoses? The old pump has a connecting piece between the filter pump and hose with an on/off valve. It looks like its attached pretty good. I'd like to purchase a new one. Also, the other opening on the filter pump appears to have a connector between the opening on the filter and where the hose attaches. Thank you!

Hi, Katie. You can use the Hose Adapter - 417-6060 for the suction side port and the Interconnect Assembly - 42363408R000 for the discharge port.

Would this pump be a good replacement for my Sta-Rite System 2 PLM 150?
Do you have a pump curve for this pump?
Reply
The SLR9 1.5 HP Above Ground Pump Horizontal Discharge - 94022435 is designed for Above Ground Pool applications that do not require the pump to self-prime. This pump is a gravity fed pump, not suction. If you are installing on above ground pool application, yes, it may be installed with your PLMSeries Cartridge Filter 150 Sq. Ft. - PLM150.

Hi I have a Jacuzzi 1.0 spl 2 speed serial bz09 17. part no. 7 186554 01. it has a side discharge looking for a compatable replacement hope you can help me out thanks

Hi Bob, I would suggest the 1 HP Jacuzzi SLR Horizontal Discharge Pump, however, this pump will be a single speed and not dual speed. We do not carry the dual speed SLR complete pump. You could just replace your motor with a 1 HP Dual Speed Replacement Motor and then use your current pump housing. If you go this route you will also need a Jacuzzi SLR Shaft Seal Kit

I have a Sherlock to Cousy 80 cartridge filter and I'm leaking between the pump and the motor and I'd like to replace it it's very old looking at your photo with the pump on the left hand side of the motor on the right I need the 90 degree to pop out the back side of it will this connect right to that if I order the one horsepower part number 94022 430

Hi, Paul. A 1.5 HP pump may be too large to use with a Sherlock 80 filter. I would recommend staying with the 1 hp model unless you'll be increasing the filter size also.

We also carry the pureline above ground pool pump model PL1502 that you can use. The connections are different and may just require standard plumbing and or fittings to above ground pool hose to work. You can also view other above ground pool pumps by clicking here.
