I have a pump, 5kc33jn2825x, that I need to replace. Is there a 1hp motor that I could get that will fit in place of the 3/4hp. If so please send me the part number for it.

What is the part # for the shaft seal that goes with this motor? My pump model # is SP2605X7.
Thanks.

Kim, The SP2605X7 is the Hayward 3/4HP Super Pump. You can use the 5110-11 shaft seal if you are using chlorine or you can use the 5250-235 if you have a salt pool.

Can you use this 1HP pump to replace the 3/4 HP pump that goes with Model SP2605x7. If so what other parts/items will we need to buy?

my part numer is 0-184980-23 3/4 HP pump. CAT B227SE. Can I use this pump? and what tune up kit do I need? thanks

Yes, you can use this single speed motor and the seals and gaskets depend on the model of the front pump housing that the motor bolts to. If you are not sure of that model then you can always email pictures of that housing to upload@inyopools.com so we can confirm that for you.

Hi, The motor on this page is the correct replacement for your CAT-B227SE, Part #- 184980. We would also suggest this Hayward Super Pump Tune Up Kit when you replace your motor. If you want the motor attached to the pump housing then you can go with the Hayward SP2610X15 or the PureLine Prime PL2602 1.5 HP

I have an A.O. Smith 3/4 HP (1.25 SF) motor on a Jacuzzi Magnum pump. Part# 7-184947. Can I bump up the HP to the A.O. Smith 1HP B227SE. Everything appears to be the same on what little I can read on my current label, or do I need to stay with the 3/4 HP recommended replacement. Have a Jacuzzi 330 cyclops filter system. What extra parts do I need should I purchase either one.

I need a new motor, and the part number on my old motor is close to the one that is listed, but not exactly the same. I think it's compatible with B227Se but I want to make sure. My part number is 0-184980-23 It's a 3/4 horse motor that's dual voltage with amps at 4.4/8.8. It has a M56J frame. It looks like it will fit, but any additional information or assurance would be appreciated. Thanks, David

Hi David, yes this is the correct replacement motor for your motor part number 184980. When replacing a pool motor we do suggest a Seal Kit. Could you send us a few photos of your pump so we can suggest the proper seal kit? If so then please take a wide shot of the complete pump to include the pipes going in and out of the pump. To supply photos simply click the reply link below and upload your photos or quickest, provide them using our online live chat feature. Once we get those photos we can make the proper recommendation for your seal kit.
