My pump is leaking in the area of this O-ring. Is there a larger O-ring that would solve this problem or another solution?

I would inspect for a crack. also have you applied lube to the oring to create a nice seal.

This "O" ring is critical for my Jacuzzi sand filter and I could not find it anywhere. INYO Pools came to my rescue and I am now back to filtered water.
Thanks INYO!

The O ring compresses over time and the shape changes.

If you remove the head for any reason it is best NOT to remove the o ring. This is because when you put it back on you may twist it slightly and may not seal as well. If the O ring is deformed I suggest replacing it.
